Jag är så excited för att höra alla låtar killarna jobbar på!
"They say the eyes are the window to the soul... The from the day he was born, he carried a light within him you could see it when you look into his eyes and a sweetest so pure that it shines through whenever he smiles.... Even though he is growing up to be a responsible young man, to me he will always be my baby brother" ~ Brianna
Emblem3 is your not your typical boy band.
In fact, they'd prefer it if you didn't use that title.
While they may be three young, good-looking guys who make tweens swoon, they also consider themselves a serious band. The pop rock/reggae trio of Drew Chadwick, Wesley Stromberg and Keaton Stromberg play their own instruments and write many of their own songs - including their hit song "Chloe."
Their debut album "Nothing to Lose" was released July 30 and since then they have been taking their show on the road, performing as the opening act for Selena Gomez.
That's why they're coming to the midstate on Oct. 22 for a Giant Center concert.
But it isn't the first time the trio has been to Hershey, they were also onstage during this year's Mixtape Festival.
We nabbed Keaton Stromberg for a few minutes on the phone to chat Hershey, the music of Emblem3 and what it's like to be a heartthrob.
What's your favorite song to perform?
"My favorite song is personally "3,000 Miles." That song is just so emotional for me and it really relates to what we're going through right now. It just a climatic moment in the show. It was such a weird, topical song and it was weird that these two songwriters brought us this song and it literally related perfectly to our life."
You guys write your own songs too. Can you walk me through that process?
"It's different every time. Basically Drew is a very, very strong lyricist and me and Wes usually write melodies and work on the actual instrumental part of the song. That's the way we've been doing a lot - the three of us working on lyrics and brainstorming in a room. Other times they'll bring us a song that's already done and we get to put tweaks on it."
I think that's something that really sets you apart from other "boy bands," the fact you guys write your own stuff.
"I think that's the most artistic part of the whole process, getting to write your own songs."
Is there a certain song you're especially proud of?
"'Sunset Blvd.' I'm always so proud of that song because we wrote that one before [we made it big]. Just to see it produced on the albums is crazy, so cool. Also 'Girl Next Door' is one we wrote from scratch, which is really cool."
Did you ever expect the sudden rise of fame?
"Wes did. My brother Wesley has always had this vision of being a big rock star. For me, I never envisioned being a professional musician. It's just so unlikely to get into it and it's such a hard business to be in. Wes said one day 'Do you want to be in a band?' and I went with it and it ended up being amazing... things just took off like crazy and it has been nonstop."
Is it weird at all working with your brother?
"Me and my brother have a great [relationship] - we never really fight. We're really respectful, we respect each other. It works really well."
Any secret to that great relationship?
"I think it's just understanding who you are and not trying to change them and letting them be them."
Now you guys were at Hershey earlier this year for Mixtape Festival - when the rain hit, right?
"Yeah, it was during our set. It was so cool... we were getting soaked on stage just rocking out."
That could have been have a music video there!
"It could have, we just had to take our shirts off" [laughs]
On the topic of shirts off, lets talk about that nude photo. Did you guys ever think "maybe we shouldn't post this?"
"There's plenty of those moments, but we just said 'Eh, we're just going to do it anyway.' It was just like a perfect joke. We were in Canada and Bieber was actually there the night before and it was just so funny because the picture was released that day. It was just the perfect joke."
It was hilarious, I'll admit.
"I think the best one is the miniature keyboard."
Any other viral stunts in the works?
"Probably nothing involving nudity. [laughs] I don't know, hopefully the '3000 Miles music video will go viral."
I was watching that just a moment ago actually, loved how you all incorporated social media.
"It's super cool."
It's also neat seeing a music video for a band that doesn't actually feature you guys that much. And you guys are pretty attractive dudes too. Is it weird that you're all heartthrobs now?
"We weren't really try to promote that at all until we were on TV and all of a sudden everyone was saying we were attractive dudes. We didn't think about that at all. It was just always about the music. I don't know. I still don't' know. That's just weird - that people think I'm attractive."

Nu är alltså killarna på väg till Dallas.
Btw, hur gulligt var det inte att han skrev BabyKeaterBear?

"Oh snap it's bout to go down in this B**** first stop back with @selenagomez!!!" - Wes
Varför är han alltid så otroligt söt! STOP IT! I can´t handle it!
Keats & Wes är just nu på Ohio State Game!
Det här är nog en av de sötaste bilder jag sett. En liten pojke gör high five med Keaton under E3s signering.
Hanging out with my best bud! - Keaton
